Soul 2 Soul Sisters: Igniting Hope, Sustaining Liberation
In the spirit of Juneteenth, Soul 2 Soul Sisters (S2SS) launched a remarkable mutual aid campaign, igniting a beacon of hope and solidarity for Black beloveds facing financial hardship. The response was overwhelming, a testament to the power of community and the unwavering commitment to uplifting one another.
Campaign Highlights:
⭐ $7,550 raised by 70 generous donors
⭐A compassionate donor matched the fundraiser, propelling us to our $15,000 goal
⭐ 9,207 views on the campaign page, amplifying the call for collective action
Every dollar contributed directly impacts the lives of Black beloveds in Colorado, providing the essential resources they need to thrive. Through mutual aid, community members come together to uplift and empower one another, fostering a stronger, more resilient society.
Now through August 31, Soul 2 Soul Sisters is squading up with Black Feminist Future (BFF) and over 15 other Black RJ organizations in mobilizing the first Post-Roe Abortion Access Rapid Response Fund to directly support frontline Black reproductive justice organizations.
Soul 2 Soul Sisters is deeply committed to advocating for Black beloveds’ rights to make decisions about our lives, bodies, and futures and to supporting and journeying alongside Black beloveds wherever they are in the broad spectrum of their reproductive journey. Help us scale not only our work in the reproductive justice movement but the works of other Black RJ organizations. Together we will sustain the movement for broad access to reproductive care for all. RJ is our answer! ✊🏿
