Our Values
Our mission is rooted in the values of our community and those we serve. We believe in Community and Culture as the cornerstone of mental and emotional wellness. We believe in Trust as the thread linking organizations, communities, and individuals, and the foundation for healing to occur. We believe in Cultural Diversity as a way to honor the wisdom and roots of the community and the basis for the services and programs we offer. We believe in Community Wellness and Wellbeing That traditional health workers and community leaders can be catalysts. We believe in Sustainable Change through collaborations with multiple partners that share our values and vision.
I will use the information learned today by reminding myself to be patient with the people I work with every day. It has helped me understand that once we have experienced trauma, we are not in complete control of ourselves.

Over the past year, our organization has experienced transformative growth, thanks to an increase in our dedicated staff. With more hands on deck, we've been able to expand our outreach and deepen our impact within the Latine community. This has allowed us to provide more culturally attuned mental health services, offering vital support to individuals who need it most.
One of the most exciting developments is that, with this growth, we are now preparing to open our very first brick-and-mortar clinic space. This new facility will serve as a hub for community programs and offer in-person therapy, providing a welcoming and safe environment for our clients. The clinic will allow us to further our mission of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the Latine community and ensure that everyone has access to the care they deserve.
