Oyo II Dancer Training Scholarships - per season

Oyo II is a Professional Apprenticeship position offered by audition.  While many companies still charge the dancers for their eduction in a 2nd Company (classes, rehearsals, costumes, performing opportunities, understudying in Company rehearsals), Oyo does not.  Oyo II is designed for talented dancers that need to continue developing their artistic and/or technical ability before they are ready for a professional job in dance.  They have special classes and mentorship to help develop these skills as well as benefitting from cross training in Pilates.  Oyo II classes happen in the evenings and weekend so that dancers can still make a living as they refine their art. Oyo II dancers are generally able to transition into a professional career in no more than 3 years.
