Swing for Equality: Support the CORNERS BASEBALL Team! Help us give 13 young black boys the opportunity to play baseball, build confidence.

The CORNERS Baseball Team Initiative aims to provide 13 black boys aged 7-9 from Stamford's West Side with the chance to participate in the upcoming spring Little League season. We believe in the power of sports to:

Promote Inclusivity and Diversity: By creating a team specifically for underrepresented youth, we can break down barriers and create a more welcoming environment in the league.

Develop Essential Life Skills: Baseball teaches teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, valuable skills that benefit players both on and off the field.

Your Support is Needed:

As we wrap up a fantastic summer season, our players have formed strong bonds and lifelong friendships. To further strengthen these connections, we're planning a family camping trip to the Catskills from August 23rd to August 25th, 2024. This trip will provide our baseball community, including black moms and black dads, with an enriching experience in nature.

We need your help to make this trip possible! Our goal is to raise $5,000, and we're looking for generous sponsors to donate $1,000 each or $2,500 each. Your support will cover the costs of transportation, accommodation, and activities, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.

We are also raising funds to cover the costs of:

Equipment: Baseball gloves, bats, helmets, cleats, and uniforms.

Transportation: Providing rides to and from practices and games.

League Fees: Ensuring all players can participate without financial barriers.

Coaching and Mentorship: Experienced coaches and mentors will guide the team and provide positive role models.

Every Donation, Big or Small, Will Make a Difference:

$25: Provides a baseball glove for one player.

$50: Covers transportation costs for one game.

$100: Helps purchase a complete equipment set for one player.

$250: Contributes to coaching and mentorship programs.
